No such luck here. I tried with the latest kernel (31-20 generic). The
kernel module detects the device OK (according to lspci), but the driver
fails to notice when a new card is inserted in the reader. Thus no

I was having the exact same problem. What was even more strange is that
I was able to burn some cd's and dvd's but not all of them, especially
where I was burning a cd or dvd image. I remembered reading somewhere
for the different burning applications to not put spaces in the
filename. So this one
Would anyone mind testing this for me against the latest daily image and
let me know if it still see in the software?

Because suspending to disk (hibernating) works fine, users of T410 and
T510 models may want to use the power control panel to have the sleep
key press, lid closing event, and possibly other events map to
hibernation. This will at least avoid data loss from closing the lid (or
doing something else)

As you can see, they don't understand. It is not a problem of
-303 kernel did nothing (maybe the dependencies were broke...didn't show
up in grub), but I found http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.33/ and installed the .deb from there. It has the
same problem as the -16 kernel. I did not see the -15 kernel still in
the repo, but I might try t
