Ignores physical display size and calculates
I had a crash again this morning. I can't tell what I did other than simply
moving the mouse from one screen to another.
I could not even kill xorg with ctrl-alt-back. I had to login remotely from
another computer and kill xorg via the console.

Hrm. nouveau is an XRandR 1.2 driver, and they support different
xorg.conf configuration syntax. I'm not sure if this means the old
syntax is broken.
You might want to try setting up an xorg.conf based on Section III of
the Debian X Strike Force's RandR12 wiki page:

I updated x201 with kernels/headers from #63/#64 and it now does not have a
blank screen.
However, the display does lockup now about once per day. I can ssh into the
machine and all looks OK, but X cannot be killed with a gdm stop. It even hangs
