Sorry, I have no ability to install Maverick at the moment. Mayber,
there is someone out there who has access to Maverick? The steps to
reproduce the issue are fairly simple and determinate. The easiest
option, it seems, is to have the Update Manager load the latest updates
from the server to
udev (161+git20100825-1) maverick; urgency=low
* Merge fixes from trunk:
- keymap: Fix Sony VAIO VGN-SZ2HP/B (LP: #530137)
- keymap: Add HP G60 (LP: #554944)
- keymap: Add Onkyo PC (LP: #612529)
- Add support for oom_score_adj, which replaces oom_adj in kernel 2.6.36
-
It isn't a problem anymore, I installed several updates and afterwards the
connection worked. I don't know if this problem exists with Lucid and Maverick
because I haven't installed any of them yet. Thank you for taking my problem
seriously!2.857

This is likely a memory corruption. Some of the code related to card
name cleaning has been refactored, so I would be interested in the

Thanks in advance.

I must say I completely forgot this bug... I currently have a patch that
changes the whole key-binding library in xfce4-volumed, so once the next
version is released, it may fix this bug. Alas, I'm currently not able
to push it to the Git repository, so I can't release it yet.

There is a lot of free space bottom left, so this should be fixable.
Maybe just a layout glitch.
Scratch that. The space gets used when session and language choices
become visible.
So I suggest either justifying everything right instead of left or
moving the shutdown button to the right side.

persists in a few days after the next language packs have been released,
feel free to reopen it again.

Peter, xdeb could easily call dpkg-cross in a way which doesn't fail on
empty packages, but we actually want to cover these in the heuristics
matching packages so that we know that the package is a host package,
not a target package as it might appear in build-deps.

Maverick Beta 1 should have this fix in it, and upstream has just
accepted it for future releases. No response from stable so far, but

[Realtek ALC269] ALSA test tone not correctly
I can confirm the 0.5.7-0ubuntu2.1 package fixes the problem, running
the pk-upgrade-distro script successfully starts the upgrader (having
already changed DistUpgradeFetcherKDE.py to use devel release updates,
which won't be needed after maverick release of course).

Binary package hint: gedit
I would find it useful if you could close gedit tabs by middle clicking on the
tab. Firefox has this ability and it is much quicker and easier than locating
the relatively small cross.
