My TP-Link PCI-Card is AR 5008.
After pm-suspend, there isn't found the router, no IP. Iwlist scan - nothing.
In Ubuntu lucid and maverick, and in aptosid the same problem.
I tried rmmod ath9k before suspend, but it didn't work. The device is found but
no IP...
Pm-hibernate works.

I've got this bug again, with gnome-settings-daemon 2.32.0-0ubuntu3. Everything
the same as with unpatched version, occasionally caught, 50-80% CPU usage,
increasing memory usage, fast layouts switching.
I attached to g-s-d process by gdb, but cannot find what info to look without
knowing g-s-d

It's possible to use dkms to build the psmouse module for the buttonless
synaptics touchpad on some newer netbooks.
First make sure dkms package is installed.
Next download this patched source archive for the psmouse module from

@dvdb: for the missing splash screen, you just need to add splash to
your grub conf !
edit /etc/default/grub
modifiy line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=quiet
to

then regen grub's conf (update-grub2)

time for the wireless adapter to lose the connection. And in fact, as it
is now NetworkManager doesn't appear to notice that the connection has

I would want to second Jan Bachmann here. It would be nice if someone
with the know how can document how this patch can be applied. The
release of Marverick is in a fews days and it might not be visible to
see an official fix to this issue before release date due to fear of
causing regression.
