this problem for me: edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and add the line:

in frame #1. If group_number g, then there would be a condition where

Here is an important additional piece of information :
it turned out that :
- when choosing in the PulseAudio mixer the Logitech Webcam as audio input
source (instead of the internal line-in), Cheese doesn't hang anymore
- HOWEVER : the first video is recorded properly but if I record 2 videos

This a proble of upstream HPLIP. It does not have an interface for head
cleaning, nozzle checking, ink levels, ... via the CUPS command
facility.

Google Earth isn't easy to install in Ubuntu. Now, there are three ways
