No, natty is enough :) And a new version has been uploaded there, but
it's too big an update for a maverick SRU. You can try to build it on
maverick if you need it, otherwise you'll be able to install it on
natty.

Adding a new D-BUS signal and pick that up in unity is fine FFE-wise.

There is a way already in dkms.conf to specify which kernels not to
build with. Look at the OBSOLETE_BY directive. I don't see why you
would ever want the package to install though if it's not going to work
with your kernel.

to indicate it's receiving jobs (also you can hear the print engine is
warming up). Did you notice those signs?

papukaija, I arrived here because of a merged bug... I'm unable to connect
behind a proxy WITH authentication. It still doesn't work (tested 5 min ago on
Ubuntu 10.10 (32bits) fully updated).
The whole proxy management is broken.

@papukaija: it seems you're over optimistic about the status of this
bug. Actually the only thing working right now in Maverick is syncing
notes with Tomboy... there is no way to connect to Ubuntu One with the
preferences applet if you're behind a proxy. It's just totally unusable.
