Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: sound-juicer
I am dismayed by the decline in CD ripper quality on ubuntu, as typified
by sound-juicer/rhythmbox (apparently same code base). Many years ago,
I used grip. Grip let you tell it what you wanted it to do and it did
it right, every time.
Anyone who can test the maverick-proposed update?

You've misconfigured your system. You have the nvidia video driver
installed but are booting -nouveau. You need to get technical support,
not file a bug report.

For crashes you need to provide a backtrace when filing bug reports -
see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for guidance in how to collect
them.
The logs you attached don't show an X crash, but maybe you had rebooted
a few times since the crash. A common X crash on natty is bug #774978.

Alexander Kallenbach, before this problem occurred did you hard shutdown
your VM and/or did you have a kernel panic?
