One week ago I upgraded my system from natty to oneiric alpha. Since
then the gnome desktop speed has improved a litle bit, but is still very
slow (with my Pentium M 1.6 Ghz processor). Due to a development bug in
oneiric I have to start unity manually, which gives me the oportunity to

My original kernel is 2.6.38, and I want to modify system calls in 2.6.39.2.
I successfully make the new kernel and use the command "sudo make install" to
install the new kernel.
However, this command doesn't work perfectly with a failure of fglrx.
When I restarted my PC, the
libv4l and my webcam have crashed gstreamer-properties, cheese, and
skype.
Gstreamer-properties crashes with this:

document pack you will realize invalid is the best status for this
bug.

Hello people. I have the same problem. Not only with shutter, but
audacious, monitor icon, printer icon, etc. It seems like this bug
affect on any icon applet. The way to select it is to clic on the icon
applet on the right and then move de mouse to the left this selection.
