So the new config definitely worked for me, some problematic logs have appeared
in syslog and as expected weren't mailed out:

Yes, wifi does work when removing acer-wmi module from opensuse beta. It also

address in Oneiric. This might have to do with a change in behavior of
dhclient.
Before, running dhclient without arguments got an IP address on any/all
interfaces. Now, dhclient does nothing. dhclient eth
I bought a docking station and can confirm the same problems via the
twin DVI outputs (both 1 or 2 external monitors), so it's not just an
issue with mixing CRT and DFP devices. The panels plugged into the
docking station appear as 2 DFP devices, with another DFP device for the
laptop's screen.
