Public bug reported:
New (clean) installation of Xubuntu 11.04.
Updates icon appears in taskbar.
Click icon, update manager appears.
Click install updates
Button appears depressed for a couple of seconds.
Nothing else happens.
The same occurs when taking the update manager option from the menu.
