The script by James in /usr/bin/jenkins-monitor-job wraps a call to java

I have the same problem on an Asus eeePC 1101HA, Ubuntu Oneric, kernel
3.0.0-12.20. The 'speaker-test' test plays without stuttering, paplay
stutters. However, this problem also occurs if the processor isn't
loaded, just running the music player at around 10% cpu.

I also had no sound after upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot
(Kubuntu edition). Pulseaudio crashes every time.

I have a Sylvania Meso G Netbook ( Rebranded MSI Wind) that has been
performing beautifully on 8.04 and then on 10.04. Never had any issues
with power consumption or the 4 cell battery that it has.
On 10/22/2011 update manager ran and pulled in acpid (1.0.10-5ubuntu2.1,
This bug is no longer ocurring.

none of the these options worked for me, short:
- dbus.conf
- K14 links
- S31 earlier
- a modprobe option
Samething here: after upgrade Ubuntu from 11.04 to 11.10, Webcam is not
recognized anymore.

Line streaking/spiking was produced in GIMP 2.6 using only a standard
generic Microsoft Optical Mouse (USB-PS/2 Compatible) and Ubuntu 11.10.
Nothing like this seen in other programs such as MyPaint, SynfigStudio,
Inkscape or Blender.
