The No Sound Issue only occurs with WUBI/XP Installation or running off
the USB Drive.
If a FULL installation is then performed, the sound works normally.
So perhaps, not a bug, just missing Drivers that are installed during
full installation???

Phillip, GParted still uses the mlabel command from the mtools package
to set the label.
Having said that, in GParted 0.11.0 we switched to only using blkid
results when a file system specific tool cannot be found. Hence this

I have 2 Dell 2950 servers running ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I installed

I had the computer connected via HDMI, and after installing ATI's proprietary
drivers, I now have sound again.
In 10.04, I did not have the propietary drivers installed.

This is a small bug, but I just wasted some time going to report it only
to find out that it was fixed before Oneiric, yet not included in
Oneiric.

it's not only unity 2d, that suffers from this, I use the normal 3d
environment and resizeing windows with a touchpad on my 18.4 inch screen
is VERY irritating

easytag is really good but the UI "flood" is making it unusuable for alot of
files.

This is probably another instance of the problem seen in bug 855793,
pointing the blame back to dpkg. (The pty code didn't change at all
between 11.04 and 11.10, and packagekit is seeing the same issue.)
