I can confirm reappearence of this problem in 12.04 both 32-bit and
64-bit, both clean install and upgrade. For me it is about accessing
WebDAV rather then SMB. It is working flawlessly in 11.10 but in 12.04

PS/2 connected mouse and keyboard stop working spontaneously in 12.04.
Works again after a reboot.
Hard to reproduce, happens rarely.
Mainboard is ASUS P7P55D-E.
Same problem was already there in 10.04.

I'd like to report as well that Maarten's patch used by Ubuntu Wine Team
on launchpad actually fixes every sound issue I was experiencing, and it
actually allows me not to worry about restarting pulse and wine every 30
minutes or so... And I'm somehow getting better overall performances too

Should I also add .ogx and .spx? According to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogg, the extensions are .ogv, .oga, .ogx,
.ogg, .spx. For now, I'll add them, too.

I have 2 monitors, actually I have an external monitor connected to my laptop
through hdmi.

When using

The problem occured due to Ubuntu became unreaspondable, which happen
often. I was forced to kill xorg service with top command.
After xorg came up, it was only running 1024zx768, and it reported it
was unable to use 1680x1050 for my screen, even it has run that many
times.

was saying the authentication failed.
have you checked that your password and ids are saved there in the seahorse ?
