issue is USB-related. Although for me it seems to be Ubuntu falling out
with the USB hub in my docking station.
Out of the docking station, or with USB devices plugged into the laptop
and not the docking station, and I'm fine.
Worked like a charm. The standard boot entry is not needed anymore.
Then again, why did it load before the update and stopped after?
