A careful examination of the container-detect job shows that switching it to
virtual-filesystems would also result in a race condition. The job has two
functions:
- emitting an event telling whether we're in a container or not
- populating /run/container_type

some point I had keyboard not working and I turned on virtual screen in
lightdm (login screen) and in Unity as well.

On ubuntu 12.10.
My photo colection is on a ntfs partition and are imported into shotwell.
Everytime I make a search the lens takes all power of one processor core for
several minutes. Eventurally it finds what it was looking for -as I said after
maybe a couple of minutes.
I had a similar problem, and found a workaround. All I did was
completely remove the three folders in ~/.thumbnails: fail, large and
normal. Nautilus then re-reads the metadata and assigns new icons to all
the files on the computer. I hope this helps.

Running this, from post above, don't crashes software center:

After further review, it turns out the issue is with Chrome browser
crashing and logging a ton of stuff to rsyslog. It was doing as it
should!

I had a notice that my root was almost full, so I checked out what was
taking it.
rsyslog was taking 100% of my CPU and had generated a log file over
2.4GB, which I had to delete. It continued, and I had to stop the
rsyslog service.

I realize now the summary is poor. It's not that w3m-img doesn't work,
it's that the inline images dont' display. The linked upstream bug seems
to do with context menus and mouse support, not inline images.
Also, there seems to be a bug with add-apt-repository in Quantal, or at
least mine. So I'm

The filenames in that valgrind stack don't match those in the indicator-
multiload source I have. They seem to all be standard glib files. Not
sure if that narrows things down at all.
