When I plug in my iPad on my Ubuntu 12.10, it does not mount any more (it used
to, but then it suddenly stopped working).
The different idevice utilities produce segmentation faults, after I plug my
iPad in.

Booting with 'noapic', I see the "irq 5: nobody cared" message on
resume, along with 1 IRQ5 counts in /proc/interrupts (the devices
claiming that IRQ are quiescent).

We really need to have the ability to click on the launcher icon to
minimize. It's far faster and easier than trying to click the little
minimize button that's tucked between the other two. Click to launch,
then click to minimize or restore from a minimized state.

Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu as is Kubuntu. Recall, I run the KDE

I suspected it may be a false positive in valgrind from such an
optimization in eglibc, but looking at the uncommented glibc source, I
can not tell if it actually is safe and won't cross a page boundary. If
it can't cross a page boundary, then yes, valgrind should be configured
to ignore it, but i
