In Ubuntu 12.04, I don't quite get the crash, but the text-editor is
buggy. You choose a font, it keeps sans and you have to assign the font
again. After copying a text layer (pretty fundamental to any text effect
operation), it moves the topmost layer on editing.

I see two way for fixing the issue. The first one don't change the
db/api, but it's the a very nice fix. The second one seems to be the

I get this behavior when I use a bridge or an ordinary wired ethernet
(eth0) for network connection iff this interface is not managed by
NetworkManager but defined in /etc/network/interfaces.
Problem is (at least to my experience) that NetworkManager cannot open

I'm periodically (every few days) getting a hang on my Thinkpad W500
running Ubuntu 12.10+updates whereby the system freezes for a few
minutes. During this time the mouse pointer won't work, music either
loops or stops
