Remarks field not
I have a fix in my sandbox! It is a one line addition to
src/gui_mainwindow.c. It will be released as version 2.0.7. I tried it
with Unity and Ubuntu 12.10 and it works for me.
remscr = gtk_scrolled_window_new (NULL, NULL);
+ gtk_widget_set_size_request (remscr, 100, 60);
There is a way to stop these error messages. Just type: sudo kill -9 [process
number of apport-gtk]
and the problem is gone (until another time you turn on the computer).

Apparently this is some sort of background crash.

I do not know if it is important but when I use "top" in command line it
shows that apport-gtk process uses 100% (or even 100.4%!) of CPU.
However, in System Monitor (graphical) there is no apport-gtk process
listed among active processes.
