To decide whether psensor needs to hide the main window it requires that
the appindicator service is started after a given amount of time. If the
session is very long to open, it causes trouble. The duration has been
extended in a 0.7.0.4.

I have just received a reply from asus support about this problem.
They replied that I have to send laptop back and open a RMA.
I bought the laptop 1 month ago, I don't think is a laptop problem, I think

I just found 1142213, which looks like the issue that I saw in the GDB output.

installed any drivers which build automatically using dkms (such as
nvidia proprietary drivers), you need the headers. It's safest to

I also tested 13.04 and still have the same problem. Using compizconfig-ubuntu

one can change settings hide animation or dash blur (sorry forgot which setting

I've been going back and forth on whether to file a removal bug on this
for awhile now, but this might be the last straw. As the person who
originally uploaded this to Ubuntu, every bug that comes through my

Could I suggest it would be better if psensor waited for a suitable
event that is emitted by the start of the appindicator service, instead
of waiting for a fixed duration? Perhaps you could listen on dbus or
similar and wait for the event. And as a fallback case where the DE does
not use
