The installation instructions for Ubuntu to a sandisk on a UEFI system
simply don't exist in any meaningful way and it simply doesn't work.
It's pretty normal to want alternate OSs on a separate sandisk to boot
up and this would work fine if Ubuntu actually supported this wit
I can provide logs too if needed. The suspend failure is intermittent so
it is difficult to catch what is causing it.

It may be due to asus-wmi is not loaded since in comment #5 it says no

I just experienced a hang on 3.10-rc5, the latest available upstream

For maximal strangeness, it would appear that this card somehow
interferes with my sound card: while it is installed, I get a very
peculiar "atiixp: codec read timeout" error on boot, and my sound card
is not visible in the configuration pane. Unfortunately, since that's
an onboard sound device, I
splatd definitely doesn't pull in python2.4 now. Marking this as Fix

Since it's been 4 years and there was no crash to begin with, this
information is not going to be real useful. I'm pretty sure the apport
