I am trying to install ubuntu 11.10 over 12.10, because I absolutely
hate the pgm "disks" in 12.10. It won't even format a thumb drive, and
whatever I do in "disks" adversely affects the behavior of my hd, and in
a way that I do not know how to undo. I lost 8 gigs of backup
I tried the Zenbook without the secure boot.
There was no difference.
Grub came up an as soon as the Ubuntu was started i had an black screen.
So i went back to 13.04

If you install alacarte, I believe you can use it to force Terminal to
show in your menus.
If the Lubuntu developers ask the Desktop Team to add LXDE to the
OnlyShowIn list, I'm sure we can. Otherwise, since LXDE offers its own
app also named Terminal, it makes the menus very confusing to someone

My processor is an AMD Athlon XP-M, which doesn't support 64-bit as far
as I can see... Yes, I have the latest BIOS version installed :)
