The version of gnome-settings-daemon and xkb-data are the same after and before

After a few days, my new profile had the same problem. As browsing is an
essential task, I had to switch to gnome3 and I haven't had this issue
for months. Probably, the problem is related to unity.

will be killed when adjusting the resolution
Steps:
1. Install 12.04.3 + update 3.8.0-35
2. Install nvidia-331-updates drvier via jockey

You should install "ubuntu-desktop-mir" to enable things automatically
