The apps are not crashing. I can confirm while still testing on #281
that all of the webapp-container and oxide-renderer processes are
present and alive (or paused) for all of the 10 webapps I have started.
At some random point they stop being displayed on the 'Apps' list in
Unity.

For the tests, I think you should set up a fake home directory and
set the XDG directories and HOME variable to point into that.

I had to remove cgroup-lite and install cgroup-bin in order to avoid
this error. cgroup-lite was not mounting /sys/fs/cgroup which lxc-
execute required. Once I installed cgroup-bin and invoked
