This is an issue afterwards UEFI installation. It is strange that you can see
radeon firmware but I can't see any radeon firmware on my system.
I am using the ISO from http://www.ubuntu.com/download/server and under UEFI
(not legacy) installation, there is no radeon firmware in /lib/firmware.

gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg as part of a fix for Ubuntu 14.04 to provide full
support for the H.264 codec. Installing gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg provides
all of the necessary dependencies that are missing from arista
transcoder in 14.04.

Using Bash Smart Completion, I found that sometimes when I use wildcards
and then press tab, not all existing files are consideres for expansion
but only the first one. This is a very dangerous behaviour because
people tend to think there is only one file matching the pattern.
It does indeed look that the error happens somewhere in Qt (based on
function names in gdb stack printout).
Qtcreator runs without errors. Also following QT application run fine:

I just upgraded from Ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 and Banshee now crashes at

Nothing else was changed. I tried reinstalling Banshee but that did not
