I'm sure it is configured for VVM. This bug should be to track and fix
VVM in touch I suppose. Not sure what's involved in supporting it, but
as a first phase we should not display sms messages that are VVM
related.

iptables was working fine until I did an upgrade to a new kernel
version. Now it is impossible to load my firewall rules using iptables-
restore. The iptables-restore program croaks when trying to load the
rules.
While the error is reported on the line associated with the "
I did just try the upstream kernel as requested
(linux-image-3.16.0-031600rc4-generic).
This does (mostly) fix the problem, but not entirely, so I'll tag it
bug-exists upstream.
1) I have all 3 monitors working correctly if I combine kernel 3.16 AND
a hand-tuned xorg.conf

OK, based on comment #7 which details a URL prefixed with "vvm" and
Bill's screenshot in comment #9 which show an URL onscreen which also
includes an URL with "vvm", my conclusion is that these two SIMs have
been enabled for AT&T's Visual Voice Mail which isn't supported by Touch

power-off state, sound works fine through the amplifier.
Every time I boot the latest 12.04 LTS system via a reboot, sound only
works through the laptop speakers
I’m seeing the same apparmor denial in the syslog in image #119 (i.e.
with oxide 1.0.2, so it doesn’t seem to be an oxide 1.1 regression),
although the app doesn’t crash, but the view doesn’t display anything
either.

Device locks randomly on welcome screen

Note that the new "rotation plugin" landed in Totem version 3.1.4 or so,
which seems to have made it to Ubuntu around 13.04 Raring. It has to be
manually enabled, and then rotation applied manually.
But rotation is not yet automatic, and I think that when a video has
metadata indicating the need

Just a clarification,the error message when trying to reinstall Grub in
the first case ("I was able to boot the system but then it was not
possible to reinstall grub from the running system with the usual sudo
grub-install /dev/sdX command.") was:

When playing a video in Totem, the "Always on top" flag is already set.
After right-clicking on the title bar, and unsetting the flag, Totem
will again enable the flag, after a few seconds.
This is bad behavior and it should never be setting the "Always on top"
flag itself.
