I've re-tested again using the existing 12.04 setup (after a full update
a few days ago and LO upgraded to 4.3.0.4 using PPA). The bug is now

I've been trying to find an answer to why the scroll wheel doesn't work
and this is the closest thing to it.
Scrolling with the mouse wheel in Chromium, terminal, LibreOffice works
normally. It jumps more than I'd like, but it scrolls after one notch

BTW I just reformatted that partition to ext4 and ran a check via

i have similar issue with Plantronics USB headset. it can be selected as output
in sound settings menu, but it still uses laptop speakers.
3.5mm headphones work though.

0001-compiler-symbol-names-should-have-.-replaced-with-_.patch -- this isn't
actually arm64 specific at all, but a general gccgo/cgo problem
