no longer power off following the inactivity timeout.
This function worked perfectly in 12.04 LTS.
I am running the latest Catalyst display drivers, installed from the AMD
tarball. There have been no majo

upgrade to continue. some of them may have been local or obsolete

Hi,
I cannot run that command because the system where it happened is for
now unbootable. But I believe that that error appears on another just
upgrading instance. It is related to "vhba" driver from cdemu project
... from following error description.
Examining /etc/kernel/header_postinst.d.

Bytemark VPS was using 3.2.60.
Swapped it out for 3.4.92 and the package correctly configures.

This may help a little - on a fresh clean install, before you ever open

The solution I posted above is NOT stable. After some time, getent group
only returns local groups again. The bug is not resolved by this.

comes not from the message (which is redirected to upstart logs anyway),
but from the return code of the script.

There are actually three separated issues discussed there. First one is
the original reported problem where URfkill was not updating killswitch
states properly. That has been fixed.
The second one is about the icon which actually is "nm-no-connection" which
unfortunately looks like a wifi icon.
