It looks like this was incorrectly assigned to grub-installer because
you appear to have used a persistent mode usb stick to install a number
of systems over time, and your logs show a problem with an earlier

I was trying to debug in my system but complete freeze takes away entire
system to be only power off/on.
If you have system which supports IOMMU, you can boot this version of
kernel and PCI passthrough to see where is the freeze. that will be
really useful to find out.

'tabletpcbutton', which used to be 'off', is now 'on' by default. This can be

Steps to reproduce:
sudo apt-get install update-manager-core python-apt
sudo sed -i -e 's/Prompt=lts/Prompt=normal/'
/etc/update-manager/release-upgrades
sudo do-release-upgrade -d -f DistUpgradeViewNonInteractive
After while, it shows text

According to the manpage (and to me using it):
-s, --section=foo[,bar,..]
Specify the section of Debian to mirror. Defaults to
main,contrib,non-free,main/debian-installer.
According to the debian glossary (and other usage), section is something like
kde or games:
Chris' trick did allow me to finish installing...
Though ubuntu server 14.04.1 now tried to startx, complained about cups [FAIL]
on boot and takes up twice the disk space on / than another similar install...
Furthermore, trying to dpkg -S some files (say startx, to know why it's there)
doesn't

breaks the left button of lenovo g50-70 laptops in utopic, see bug 1381815

I realize you are not Ubuntu, so realize I am not trying to argue with
you about this. I appreciate discussing it however, as the decision or
lack of action mystifies me.
None of those are valid reasons for Ubuntu to leave this package listed. If
this were a recent bug that might be different,
My mistake then. I used the source forge repo, which must be outdated.
