external display is connected the desktop becomes incorrect
tiled/scaled, and the displays rapidly (~10 Hz) flicker.

can't make it crash but I can see that it mistakenly maps each X Window
(some of which could be menus or even individual widgets like in xedit)

Give silo 47 a try. I have what should be a fix but I wasn't ever able
to reproduce the issue directly. I refactored mediaCount() to no longer
make a dbus call to retrieve the value so that's why I'm confident this
should fix the issue. Also, make sure that call playlist.clear() when
you start

Maybe I must not relate this here but when I do a "apport-bug gedit" this page
is opened automaticaly so there we go!
I'm using ubuntu-gnome flavour and gnome-shell... after this lastest 3 ou 4
