It seems that the process does not exit when the gnome-software window
is closed.
If I kill the gnome-software process and restart it, the freshly
installed .deb package is now visible in the list. It's better than
rebooting but still quite confusing.

I have an X1 Carbon Gen1 with Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 [Taylor Peak] (rev

'sudo iw dev wlan0 scan' doesn't help. I usually have a blank wireless icon (no
bars) with no networks listed, occasionally the up-down arrow wired connector
icon. Need to go to System Settings > Network to see

I have this issue with Xubuntu 16.04 using nvidia-370 drivers, on a GTX 980 ti.
I have made the following changes to /etc/default/grub for nosplash and text
mode but still have a blank/black screen:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="nosplash"
GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=text
Unfortunately I have four
@Martin Pitt, is this with the upstream v4.8-rc8 kernel, or with an
Ubuntu kernel? If it is with 44.8-rc8, we may still have to perform a
reverse bisect to identify the commit that fixes the bug, so we can SRU
it to the stable kernels. Yakkety will pick up this fix when we rebase,
but kernel
"each collection is shipped under its own open license,
which is included in the SVG file" - can't find those licences in the
respective SVG files. One would have to look them up in their original
projects, to find out how they can be used.
