Now I have problems. Removing 4.9.0.11 and adding 4.10.0-1 at the same
time will stall on reboot. 4.10.0 stalls permanently on restart and the
HDD is noisy. I got the Grub menu back but it is intermittent. Will do

This issue affects me as well.
Temporary solution : Cut off Internet access to the installer. The
installation should be fine. After install, enable Internet and do a
sudo apt-get upgrade.

Fix missing for 16.04.
Any chance of getting this fixed in 16.04. Since 16.04 is an LTS it
would be good to also fix the problem in the LTS.
At a min could we get the GeneralInfo.pm fix. This would at least fix
the RRD graph.
The patch also fixed the problem for me on 16.04
