So I did an apt update/upgrade yesterday and after a reboot, mouse
clicks do not work anymore.
I opened a X11 session instead of Wayland and mouse clicks are working
there.
It's the first time I have this bug since I installed Ubuntu 17.10 (and

Following up on your comment twdkeule, is there an option to disable the
dialog popup in Ubuntu 17.10? I was going to try vincenzoml's hack fix,
but don't have any experience rebuilding packages and was pretty lost on
how to even find/edit the unity-settings-daemon file.
I am considering upgrading
