after #40 or perhaps earlier.
I am not sure, but some issue(s) may have been memory-related.

Installation of grub-efi-amd64-signed failed during an install of Ubuntu
18.04. This was followed by a crash of the installer. I tried again
and it failed at the same place again. /boot and / are on separate
