I'm still having a problem updating. I get the following message on
screen with the latest version of snapd:


sudo dpkg --configure -a
Setting up snapd (2.34.1+18.10) ...
snapd.snap-repair.service is a disabled or a static unit, not starting it.


snapd version:

sudo apt-cache policy snapd
[sudo] password for cariboo:
