I did a regression test and ran iperf3 (single thread and 4 threads in
parallel) from cosmic to bionic (bionic target) and vice versa (cosmic target)
a couple of times.
On top of that I'm of course also remotely connected to these system via OSA
(since some hours) using the updated/expanded driv
This error appeared twice while /tmp/ubuntu-release-upgrader-
ksrznuoq/disco was upgrading my system. It popped up scary-looking
errors about the package. I wasn't scared, though.
Afterwards I ran 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' and there was no error.

(1) Packages were being visited by the auto marker
(2) The built image has a lot of automatically marked packages, as we want
(3) Crucially, cryptsetup and lvm2 are still manual, so we avoid the regression
from 1801629
