Yes, there is a reason. The mount nfs with sloppy (-s) option is broken
in Debian 11 release. I just checked the mainline and confirmed it has

I also have the issue on the Raspberry Pi 400. To add a bit more
information, the issue persists when I change resolutions, and also
occurs if I use a different monitor. I have not seen the issue on any

i have also tried the fol workarounds this morning:
sudo dpkg --purge --force-depends pulseaudio alsa-base alsa-utils
sudo apt install pulseaudio alsa-base alsa-utils
no joy... except now it says dummy output again and "pulse audio volume
control" connects to pulseaudio...
then i've tried sudo
also, as of this morning when i open "sound" it doesnt show "dummy
output" as a sound card either under output tab... its all blank
when i open "pulse audio volume control" it says it fails to connect to
pulseaudio...
how can we force-uninstall pulseaudio completely and reinstall it so it

thanks for supervising the bug reporting here. I think everyone (except a
