I have VirtualBox 6.1 installed. It was working perfectly, then suddenly
I get "kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)" when I attempt to start a
virtual machine.

My Linux system is 5.11.0-27-generic #29~20.04.1-Ubuntu.

Is this fault because a new Linux kernel has been released but
VirtualBox not been updated? This happened once before and after a few
days a new VirtualBox was released (by Ubuntu) and the problem was
solved.

If it is the same problem, some mechanism/procedure needs to be put in
place so that VirtualBox does not stop working when a new Linux kernel
is released.
