often. I suspect using Thunderbolt they will have connectivity bugs in
the same way as high bandwidth displays do. So getting a really high

On HP AMDGPU platform running the 6.14.0-1005-oem kernel, the monitor screen
never appeared when booting the system with a Thunderbolt cable connected.
However, we were still able to SSH into the system, suggesting that it had
booted successfull
Your information about the switch of Nvidia to Wayland in 24.10 is very
relevant news to me, and I suspect others using Xorg for this very
reason. Thank you for mentioning it!
I eventually tossed the eGPU enclosure because with 24.x I kept running
into various problems Nvidia or maybe eGPU relate

Yes it seems like the F4 key is stuck down on the laptop. That would
explain the weird Ctrl and Alt behaviour. I can only suggest bashing the
F4 key to see if the problem then goes away.

eGPU, which has an NVIDIA GPU inside , connected over Thunderbolt 3.

Seems it broke some other behavior. After upgrade from 25.04 to questing (dev)
something changed.
I did not have PAGER var (echo $PAGER print nothing), but "apt show package"
use less and I did not want it (need to scroll long lines of deps horizontally).
But if I run "PAGER= apt show package" it
Again there are no build logs, so no evidence that the Mutter build even
started. I think you'll need to identify the first part of the rebuild
that actually has a build log.

If you don't mind starting over, you can just install Ubuntu 25.04 and

We're facing an issue where sometimes Python 3.8 and 3.9 crash while
running out suite of pure-Python unit tests.
Python 3.10 and higher are not affected.
The key seems to be multithreading and forking/multiprocessing.
The segmentation fault seem to happen in ContextVar.set
All autopkgtests for the newly accepted pam (1.5.3-7ubuntu4.1) for plucky have
finished running.
The following regressions have been reported in tests triggered by the package:

While this configuration is not supported, I assume the failure was
grub2 was not fully installed either. If you run into a similar issue on
a supported platform or with the raspi-realtime kernel on Rasperry Pi 4
