After upgrading to 11.04 beta, the mouse scroll wheel doesn't work anywhere in
the desktop, including :
nautilus, chromium & firefox, Libre Office, etc.
so i believe its a general issue with the new unity interface, or maybe even

It's the same use case(s) why you use an additional view pane at all:
- you can use drag&drop
- you can open/see different directories simultaneously
You should give the user the choice of adding the additional view pane
permanently. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate that.

Morty,
I have been running nvidia-settings. Once it executes, the problem is
fixed without me doing anything in the program.
I think this is more of a workaround to solve the problem when it
happens - ie. it doesn't actually prevent the problem from happening.

just to confirm, the Fn/int/ext key works without windows (i heard
toshiba fn keys required special windows drivers) because i can force to
external display during the boot up sequence, even during the ubuntu
load screen. but once X starts it takes control and activates both
displays again. how rud

i have the same problem. multi monitors in linux has always been a
reason i never went 100% linux in the house. i have the exact same issue
described here. the external monitor drives a projector and that won't

I'm using firefox 2.0.0.6 on kubuntu 7.04 under a proxy. All others here at
work have the same problem with ubuntu 7.04.
But I did not have the same problem with others distributions such as Fedora7
or PCLinux or Mandriva.
