Mixxx with ATI graphics card
Once I got my wifi card back up and running, I installed all the
available updates, restarted X, and then the Xorg segfault went away for
me. It looks like this was fixed in that update, and I haven't had any
Xorg-related problems since then.

This patch is not necessary for older releases. Mixxx 1.8.0 is the

I'm almost certain this is a bug in your videocard drivers or your MESA
distribution. Please update your drivers and see if the problem goes
away.
We've seen many similar reports with vague crashes inside OpenGL
functions, and they've always turned out to be bad videocard drivers.

Can you please provide us with a backtrace for this separate bug, and
file a separate bug report? I believe it's a problem in your newer
version of PortAudio that's not present in versions before
Mixxx 1.7.1 should be out early next week, so if you've waited this
long, you might as well wait an extra day or so and grab 1.7.1.

Oh, and another thing - This is a big deal for us because 1.6.0beta1
is pretty unstable, and we don't want people to run a crappy unstable
version of our software. That's why I didn't personally package beta1
for Universe earlier.
If we don't get beta2 into Universe before the freeze, then I'd

in Gutsy, and then Free's separate package for 1.6.0beta1 was synced
over from Debian, and now I'm trying to sync up the two packages'
changelogs in the new 1.6.0beta2 package. I merged all the entries I

I did a fresh install of Gutsy a while ago, but I copied over my .gnome2
folder (including gconf) and others from my old Feisty* installation.
This seems to have caused the no plots problem for me as well, but
running that gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/gnumeric command
fixed it for me.

I have a similar twin controller pair of gamepads and they appear to
be working fine in Gutsy. The output fro my lsusb -v is:
