The video problems is like the 3 quarters of the screen were all
overlaid in the top-left quarter and all those mixed fill the whole LCD
I can login and don't get dropped to a console at any point, but the
video is unusable. Hope I made sense or I can try to snap a picture if

2.22.0+svn20080815 that now provides a Shutdown option that works on

Latest kernel updates ( 2.6.26-4-generic and 2.6.26-5-generic) left me again
at this BIOS message on my laptop:

I've added nolapic_timer on GRUB and I can successfully boot.

I recently took the plunge to Ibex, and it looks like this bug was
reintroduced somehow. Right after I updated my laptop, it wouldn't boot until I

I figured it out eventually too. If you agree that the documentation is
lacking and there's a number of people reporting on this problem the bug
is there. Did you create one to follow up? Otherwise I think this one
should remain open.
What worked for me in the end with the Treo 600 was
