OK, forget it! It doesn't make sense to take the current version from Debian, because the 64-bit version of PicoLisp doesn't run properly on Ubuntu. It crashes in some calls to C libraries (e.g. dlopen()). This seems to be because the Ubuntu libraries assume a stack alignment to a multiple of 16
