options that might not work, but when I hit the Test button then it
should tell me in plain English (or a localization alternative) that it
couldn't complete the test for whatever reason. It shouldn't pop up a

problem with drivers or with software. Since I've seen no other mention

I can confirm exactly the same problems. I also have a Dell XPS M1530.

I have the same/similar problem and I DO have 2 drives (the second/slave
one is my CD writable one).

i'm a new user of linux..blind, still don't know how to solve this

I'm having the same problem. All my USB devices as fine for months then,
suddenly, my M$ wireless mouse stops working. The funny thing is, the
keyboard and the mouse use the same receiver, and my keyboard is fine
(yep, that's right, I'm just using a keyboard :s). It's just the mouse
that's affected

I think I have been experiencing the same thing as Shashmik. When I try
to run the Hardy Beta live CD, it stops loading and gives a bunch of ata
error messages, thus:

Okay here is the deal.
I found out that the pairing use case has changed a bit. Now in order to
pair a device to Ubuntu you have pair it as an input device.
This gives a problem with the Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard and probably

I recently upgrade to the nvidia drivers v169.07, and I have yet to
experience a crash -- without compiz enabled that is. I'll try enabling

Yes, I followed the directions and got the jist of everything. I edited
the files as needed and I'll even attach the source and result.
If there are any errors let me know. If anything it's probably how I
