Starting from last Friday, i have had problems with Ubuntu freezing up.
Although the mouse pointer still moves, clicking on things does not
work. I was able to get to text mode terminal using Ctrl+Alt+Fx keys and
shut down from the command line, which seemed to be unaffected.
As far as I understand it, this is a race condition inside PyQt5 related
to the order of destruction of Python-based QObject instances. Since the
call that trigger the crash is the destruction of the plugin itself
(which in turn stops the Python engine, etc... as your stacktrace

percent CPU.

Unfortunately, this is still unfixed. Super is still meta, compose is
still menu, etc. The log reports:

I no longer can use the 173 version of the NVidia driver without
severely impacting overall performance, and the latest (Lucid, version
no 195) is buggier than ever -- crashing on AC and battery.
Also, Meng, I tried using your trick but it broke my X display
completely. It couldn't find a screen.

when i open the update manager to check for updates, click on "check"
button, then the query of entering the password shows up, after entering
the password, a new window pops titled "Downloading package information"
but without anything,, j
actually, i followed the instructions of installing the package from
proposed, but it keeps telling me that no such package.. i updated it
from synaptic and the bug disappeared. thanx..

I have this, except with Friendfeed. My Friendfeed account is showing up
in my sidebar (where all the account icons are) and not showing in my
"broadcast accounts" window.
I'm running Lucid Beta 2 and the daily-ppa for Gwibber.

I have been having a very similar problem. The percentage full reported
by gnome-power-manager was around 6-7% while the time remaining would be
at a reasonable 2-3 hours. I also noticed that "Energy when full" was
reported at 643 Wh (with "Energy (design)" at 50.2 Wh).
I see a similar discrepancy
