Ok. I will update when I find anything.
I tried "mv" in terminal and there is no problem (it does not crash). I
tried "mv" within home directory and between /home and /tmp. There is no
problem. It looks like the problem is with Nautilus.

Hi Brendan,
1. I used the command guest-session to login as guest. In guest account also
the same behavior is seen. (Window closes or crashes)
2. I tried copying files from /tmp to /home/anbarasan/ and the files copied

Nautilus crashes after cut and paste of more than one file.
I tried to cut and paste 2 files from a folder to another and the window closes
(crash).
I do not see the problem with when I cut and paste 1 file.
I have tried with 4 files and the problem is seen.

and fixing. What are the things I should learn to contribute in fixing? Do
you have some webpage that explains to newbies? About me: I have some
programming experience in C, C++, PERL, TCL, Shell. Kindly advise.

close that bug also.
The above two bugs are not seen with 'terminator'. See the attached picture

Bug Description:
Characters such as ~!@#$%^&*() are not displayed correctly in Terminal when
Tamil Language is used. These characters overlap each other (see picture1). See
picture2 for asterisk character overlapping with alphabets in Terminal and not
overlapping in gedit.
I am using Karmic Koala. i have installed all the updates, that the update
manager showed.
But still, i am getting this problem, the recording timer values are erratic..
My Audio hardware is VT1708/A [Azalia HDAC] (VIA High Definition Audio
Controller).
any other way to solve this problem?
