I've just tested it and this has been fixed. The problem is language
pack update with the fix has not been released as a stable release
update yet. Probably there should be one relased for 12.04.2.
In the mean time you can get the newest langpack with this fix included
by executing

a new package has to be build.

LibreOffice ignores localized
I have the same issues (get the same error code) but only when trying to
launch SuperTuxKart 3D game.
I can play video and have been able to sucesfully play some other old
Windows 3d games via Wine without a problem.
The same happens also if I use Lubutnu so it's not a unity/compiz
related
After reinstalling langpack welcome screen is translated for me.

strings. In Slovenian all strings are translated and yet some of them
appear untransalted such as Tap and Press in the HUD section (but
translated elsehere).

When installing Kubuntu 11.10 one sees screen in the attached image.
As one can see whichever city I choose in ex-Yugoslavia, Serbia is
suggested as a country.
As a consuquence of recent history (wars in the Balcans) this is highly

The problem is that buttons are fixed with so with languages,

Enabling crossfade helps, but instead of silence i get a minor sound
