panic. In order to debug it we need to find something that triggers the
behaviour. According to your explanation it could be caused by a memory
leak (all ram exhausted) but it could be anything.
The thing is, as this was
z3non: it seems your problem is caused by the atl1 module for your
gigabit network card. Can you test unloading that module?
Also is possible for you to test with Karmic Alpha 3 or even better with
latest mainline kernel?

According to original's reporter this is not a bug on NM, but in mobile-
broadband-provider info, where is needed a proper entry for the orange
ISP used by Gabriela

at unusual_devs.h instead of udev rules.

acpi=off is not needed, so this would get fixed in Karmic.

need to be able to reproduce it with the latest vanilla kernel from
Mainline.
As i understand, this is a production box, so i'm afraid those tests
wouldn't be easy to do...
