Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS, same problem: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG after
disconnecting from MS VPN.
I can confirm that workaround by Marius Gedminas from comment #30 works as
expected.

Problem still persists. Unity crashes on each login.
Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS
The notebook cannot be upgraded to 16.04 LTS because the VGA controller

Hello Kumbarov,
please mark "This bug affects you".
For identification of source of the bug the wider description of your setup is
needed, including LO version and GUI language, Unity version and Ubuntu locale
settings.
Did you have tried the workaround from post #1? Did it works for you?

Same symptoms on fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 on Latitude E5400.
0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev
01)
I did manually the following and wireless now is working as expected:
sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter
I confirm this with ubuntu-12.04-beta2-desktop-i386.iso while not formatting
/home partition.
A workaround from #28 does work (install without separate /home)

I have the same problem on fresh 11.04 and didn't get active sheet name appear
in either standard theme (tryed all 8 themes with both – Unity and Ubuntu
Classic aca Gnome 2). What theme solves this for you, Kmarz?
My screenshot attached.

You're right. It's the theming issue.
I have /home partition inherited from Lucid. After resetting all Gnome settings
with
rm -rf .gnome .gnome2 .gconf .gconfd .metacity
the active sheet name is back!:)

Martin,
Function EVEN() results are correct , indeed.
Even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, ... and so on.
Try to use ROUND(0.1,0) instead of EVEN(0.1) to get a number rounded to nearest
bigger integer.
So, no bug.

You
Martin,
sorry, in my suggestion should be function ROUNDUP(), not ROUND().

I can confirm the problem under Ubuntustudio 9.04, Linux 2.6.28-15-generic,
GNOME 2.26.1, C2D P8600.
The bug isn't related to SoundJuicer because Rhythmbox does the same.

Seems like I can reproduce this bug _only_ on my laptop - Compaq nx 6310. The
bug _appears_ also after partition re-formatting and re-installation of Baltix
2.7rc2 (ubuntu 7.04).
CD checksum twice verified. Memory test without errors.
Later I was installing _the same_ OS from _the same_ install
