I don't know. I just bought the machine one month ago. This is a Dell
XPS13 Developer Edition which came with Ubuntu 12.04 out of the factory,

I don't argue that the current work flow of first configuring the access
points in normal user session or guest session with auth_admin is
somewhat counterintuitive in the situation that the user just looks at
the access points in the greeter and wonders why he can't connect to
them.
But, changing
indicator-network is not being maintained. The old code base is still
available and contains the fix, but it targets a very old version of
ConnMan.
I'm marking this WontFix for Quantal and Precise.
