I have confirmed it this problem has the same solution as bug #199245:
disable the keyboard plugin of the gnome-settings-daemon using gconf-
editor:
/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/plugins/keyboard
set active to False.

I am running Xtightvnc as a subproces to Xrdp on a 64bit machine. I am
seeing the same problem as Tristan. The connection is established and
everything is working fine. Until, for no apparent reason, Xtightvnc
crashes, taking the connection and all started programs with it. I had

Further investigation seems to indicate the problem is located in the Qt

I see the same thing. Starting xfce4-terminal from the menu causes the
X server to crash.

I see the same thing. Starting xfce4-terminal from the menu causes the
X server to crash.
The relevant lines in .xsession-errors seem to be:

I have confirmed it this problem has the same solution as bug #199245:
disable the keyboard plugin of the gnome-settings-daemon using gconf-
editor:
/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/plugins/keyboard
set active to False.
